Need for Speed: The Run - Not loading/starting

I just purchased Need for Speed the Run through Origin. When I try to launch the game, the loading icon spins for a second but nothing happens. In Task Manager, the name of the program pops up for a ...

    @Ironpanthr 

    Alright we can try a Clean Boot, since I can launch the game  on my system maybe this is caused by a conflict with another program.

    • Running a Clean Boot on your PC or Mac is a troubleshooting process designed to help fix problems that may be pop-up when installing, launching, or accessing online game content. The Clean Boot process disables many background tasks that may be causing interference.

    If you want you can also copy/paste your DxDiag in this thread so we can see if everything is updated on your system.
