Need for Speed: Time Travel

What about a Need for Speed in the past?

Racing with old car from the 1970-1980s? Or even old cars from the  1940-1960s?

Or a Need for Speed with futuristic cars which can travel in time?

We could  organize rallies in Ancient Egypt, in Medieval Japan or Victorian London with intersting storyline.  

A futuristic cop from far future follow a futuristic criminal who steal time travel cars and try to search and catch him    throughout history. 

Like Demolition Man, but in the past and with cars.
