Need for speed XBOX One play problem

Hello,

I have problem with playing Need For speed on XBOX ONE from today.

I can go to in-game menu but when i hit "Play" a message shows up "an internal error has occured. Try again."

That happens from today after XBOX One firmware update rolled up.

Also XBOX Live is experiencing issues today which could affect this game as well.

So can someone assist me?

    I just want to chime in to confirm that we're looking into this issue. We'll update the main thread as soon as we have more information. 

    For the moment hold-on on purchasing a Gold subscription (unless you want one, of course :P)

    welcome in the Club i have the same Problem ! after the xbox one update but iam not sure if is it the game itself or the update. new Installation brings of nfs brings no success. i would like to Play but cant ...

    Well it can be played but you must have enabled Live Gold subscription. In that case there is no error.

    I have contacted Microsoft support team about this problem and they said they will talk with EA about this issue... but untill this is resolved only way to play the game is to purchase Gold subscribtion.

    hi it seems its  working with xbox Gold Membership. without not ! i used the Trial key xbox Gold for two days. game is starting. hope you can fix during the next days possible if not

    fix again not possible to play without Gold membership. br

    I had the same issue. Used a Xbox Live Gold code I received and it works fine now. But this issue needs to be resolved.

    Absolutely dreadful, Ea, not content with charging a small fortune for the game are no forcing us to subscribe to Gold, no refund so now held to ransom having paid for a non working game.  Its simply not good enough to say they are working on the problem and keep our money.  If that was a high street retailer they would be reported for mal practice.

    They haven't even had the decency to estimate a fix date  

    If anyone does sign up to gold don't do it from their intro page as they will get a fee no doubt

    You guys/girls are not alone and we (the community) all agree it needs to be fixed.  Seems like EA and it's reps are the only ones taking a silent stance on this issue.  In case you haven't seen them there are two other threads regarding the issues experienced with this game since the Xbox update.

    Thread: Internal Error Occurred - this thread outlines Rhettrogan's proposed workaround which worked for a day and then the errors in the next thread below started this morning.

    Thread: New Error: Privacy and Security Settings and Connection Lost - the new error that everyone seems to be experiencing regardless of the setting changed in the previous thread.

    Also my sound is crippled.  I need an offline mode, this is ridiculous.
