need help with nfs rivals xbox360

(Race mode) I completed the pursuit speedlist on chapter 7 and it then showed the end sequence and didnt level me up.i tried leaving and re entering the garage only to get the same thing.i changed the speedlist to the race one and completed that but it still wont move me on.my level says 22 yet I havnt unlocked the level 21 car and my screen still says chapter 7 devils for devils with 2 completed speedlists..please help, this is 9 hrs of game play I dnt want to lose.
