NFS 2015 - 0xc000007b - Game not launching - Case ID #123520453
Hello,
I have encountered below error while launching NFS 2015.
I have tried resolving the issue with EA Help but no solution was able to resolve this issue.
Ticket number for EA staff: #123520453
Debug reports:
[1006/220534:WARNING:resource_bundle_qt.cpp(114)] locale_file_path.empty() for locale
Application reports:
NFS16.exe - Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).
Click OK to close application.
What I have done:
- Perform clean PC boot
- Checked game files integrity
- Tried launching via 3 different platforms (Steam, Origin, EA Desktop)
- Reinstalled the game multiple times
- Reinstalled all vc redistributables
- Reinstalled DirectX
- Reinstalled GPU drivers
- Updated GPU drivers to latest version
- Replaced .dll files with ones suggested by EA staff
- I have done chkdsk for drive C:\
- Updated windows to latest version (which should not matter since the game was not updated any recently)
Any suggestions? Help please!

Reinstalled Windows 3x and made it finally working.

So anyone with 0xc000007b, just reinstall your Windows, it is the only solution that works ❤
