Nfs android - downloads each time I have to play

I have MI Max 3 with Android 7.1. It used to work fine. Now, each time I launch it, it downloads the new update and then I am able to play it. This cycle repeats again and again and frustrates the hell out of me. Downloading 880mb again and again is not feasible. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling atleast 8 times. Sadly my patience is running out now. Please help
