NFS Heat button layout
Good Afternoon, First of all, good job on NFS Heat! I am really surprised by how good it turned out - no offense - and how close it comes to how I pictured an Underground 3. BUT: Didnt somebody te...
Why is the control support for NFS games always a hassle? We have to fight/wait to get wheel support IN A RACING GAME and we can't rebind controls on anything but a keyboard!
Using manual shift comfortably on a gamepad is only really possible with either X/A face buttons (Xbone) or up/down on the right stick, whoever designed the 1 and only default scheme must have 12 fingers or just didn't care. I usually race sims at the highest difficulty with a wheel but here I'm struggling on easy!
Count me as another who's unsubscribing to access unless full key rebinding is implemented. Please don't ignore this oversight Ghost/EA, it's almost unplayable as is.
I don't understand it either why the control settings are always such a problem. Why can't such a big series like NFS support most device there are AND give everyone the option to completely customize the button layout? I don't get it! What's the problem nowadays? I still can play many new games with even a direct input device and can customize the button-layouts too.
I really am interested in NFS Heat, since it looks more solid and less annoying than NFS2015 and NFS:Lottery...uhm...Payback. But as long as I can not customize the buttons to fit me as old-school gamer (throttle/brake on buttons and not on triggers/right stick) and also providing problems when using manual transmission, Heat will be a big NO for me.
This is honestly the reason I am not buying the game. I was interested to play the game due to all the reviews but you don't find info on * controller support. I spoke to EA Support and the deluded representative was assuring that it is there.
