i would like to see them make a fix for button maping on the xbox controller for pc so you can change the buttons because i have talked with a tech and he said as of right now youcant change the buttons because its anew game but he said he forwared my question to ea and hopefully it will be fixed in a patch because idont like clicking the left thumbstick for horn becuase when i turn the car on a corner it goes off and its annoying it does it everytime and would like to see it fixed. anybody else having this issue im having when driving a car?
@nateman74 I;m having the same issue and it is very annoying. not option to remap the buttons!! Every other NFS had the option, My horn is driving me nuts.
- @Traitordan Same. Here is a brake down of the most used buttons for me in order and how it makes no sense how they laid the buttons out on PS4 with no way to change them whatsoever:
- Left stick/L3 = turning = horn (annoying)
- R2 = gas = drift (pretty annoying)
- L2 = braking = reverse (expected)
- R1 = shift up = enter garage/start event (angering)
- L1 = shift down = bribe cops (infuriating)
- X = nitrous
- Right stick/R3 = look around - snap shot (whatever)
- Touch Pad = map
- D Pad = annoying text, music control, get rid of annoying text (they couldn't put event start or bribe here???)
- Options = settings that don't allow you to change button layout
- Circle = Activate special (haven't progressed this far)
- Square = Handbrake (used once during tutorial)
- Triangle = Switch camera (never used)If pressing the gas again to drift is annoying you that much, you can change it in the live tuning settings (I believe its the right D-Pad button - might be the left one, I mix 'em up all the time)
I definitely feel more comfortable braking to enter a drift.
