I'm having the same problem, lost like one hour of gameplay twice because of that. At night during a chase, getting almost LVL20 then crash...wtf is this? My Windows is fresh installed (two weeks ago) and I have a high-end machine!
My System Specs:
Core i7-9700k @5Ghz
32GB RAM 3200
GTX 2080ti
Temps are fine, I'm running a custom waterloop (the one from Corsair Hydro-X Series)
Drivers are up to date and I refuse to update my Windows to 1903 cause that version is absolute garbage (extreme instability and that's why my Windows install is fresh), so currently running the latest version of 1809.
Any Ideas? I want to play this game man ☹️

Game starts heating the CPU and after some minutes my system reboots. Never happened with other heavy games.

- 6 years ago@GorinichDiMaggio I've got a 2060. GPU is undervolted and all other games play between 70 and 80 degrees but this game makes my CPU cook at 95 to 100 degrees. And for some reason all of a sudden the game keeps crashing. I assume this is because of the heat of the CPU

Yeap, the undervolting my CPU did the job and now I can play the Heat, but nevertheless, this is the first time I need to do such manipulation in order to make software run properly )
