NFS Heat Short Story Only Four Chapters

@BLVD69 Story is never a core element in any game(even not NFS or racing games)TV Series/Films are better at story-telling.So I really wish EA wake up and realize all NFS need is just speed like the name itself.Simple Classic Cannonball NFS without any story/character is the only way to save NFS.Just like it did in 2010.Let alone countless story cars recycling cause plothole as usual
@GK3512 it's not "required" per say, but if you go WAY WAY WAY back to the game "street rod" on PC, even that simple game had a story: beat the guy in the awesome black Corvette and become the new street king.
Whilst it's not NEEDED, it does help make it feel like more than JUST doing random races for cash.
Side note, hell, even street rod had an in cockpit view.... the only view actually, and it was an awesome game for it's time.

- @Icarium81 Before that game there was Outrun 1986 which was a simple racing game only about driving a Testarossa Spider against the time. That's also a legendary game with atmosphere close to classic era NFS(without police)But even without real story it is still fun. Hence why I always don't want story in a game simply about fun racing
- @GK3512 Even that one had a story, which was to beat the clock and get to California (wasn't it??)it's about as MINIMAL as a story gets.
There's also the simple fact that it's 2019 and aside from a few people, everyone wants a game to have a story of some sort to make it feel like you're progressing towards something.- @Icarium81 A goal isn't the same as Story. Get to Cali before time runs out is a goal(Which will be rewarded with points).Progress can be rewarded with unlocks. HP2010 used progress as the way to unlock cars and events. That's a goal not a story.
