NFS Heat shutting my whole PC down

Hello.

I have a big problem with NFS Heat. So I normally play the game for like 1 hour in day and normally it's working but out of nowhere my whole PC just shut off. And this problem is happening again and again. I'm trying to record it too for my let's play series and that's like 30 minutes and whole PC just shut down too. I don't really know what's happening and why it's happening.

My PC specs: GTX 1060 6GB

                       AMD Ryzen 5 2600

                       RAM 16GB

If someone can help with this big issue.

Thank you.

  • I've been having this issue since the game's launch and have seen a plethora of people reporting this with no fixes and very little acknowledgement from EA themselves.

My best advice for you is to wait until they finally acknowledge the issue more thoroughly for PC users and come out with a patch for it / release some sort of information on the issue or attempt to get a refund (which i also have been reading on multiple occasions that EA has been refusing to oblige, even though the game does not work properly for a multitude of users).

I'm sorry to see that you are cursed with this issue also. I run a GTX 1060 6GB as well with an i7-7700k and 16GB of RAM.

  • Kind of the same problem to me
When I play day races it goes good for about half an hour then the game crashes and if I press very fast CTRL+ALT+DEL I get to see the error code (DXGI device removed and reset)
When I play night races it crashes after a few minutes I actually start driving, same error, but more frequent
If I don't press CTRL+ALT+DEL the game reboots my whole PC

    16GB ram

  • I may have a solution this process works for me. I just bought the game started it up the first time worked ok changed the settings and exited out

The second time booted the game it crashed and took my pc with it. So what I did was deleted my settings folder from the documents then ran the game and it worked the thing is don't touch the settings don't change anything just play the game as is I know this is a downside but what can you do.

  • i’ve also had this problem, but i’m on a laptop so it’s probably just overheating, even though i do have a cooling pad. whenever it turns off my pc, if i restart it, the issue usually stops.
