What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing. I want my bodykit, that's all.
What do you expect to see? For the game not to reset the highlighted part option despite it being incompatible. Just don't attach it to the car, but don't reset the choice.
In the NFS Heat Studio App, it is impossible to attach the rally bodykit to the 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STi. All the parts will say that they're incompatible all around to each other, ultimately creating an incompability loop that prevents you from attaching those certain parts at all.
