I've been playing with an Xbox360 controller on PC and this is definitely not the case. The throttle is a reflection of how hard I'm holding down the trigger, where I'm able to lightly push it to keep low revs to get out of sand pits, etc.

Maybe it's the support for your particular controller or your drivers for it.

Me to i play on pc with a playstation 4 controller and no matter how gently i push it it always goes up to 100% throttle i hope they fix this soon

Yep, i used a ds4 controller too, seems to be related to that it makes drifting hard.  some stupid compatibility thing microsoft or ea is doing to push microsoft / xbox


i personally dont own heat but i played it at a friends place and noticed this.
