nfs heat wont luanch after installing the ea app

I could launch and play nfs heat without any issues until the new ea launcher came around.

The issue is when I try to launch the game a panel with the name "link 2 ea" pops up and doesn't display anything then it closes without displaying any errors. 

Things I have tried:

1. clean booting
2. disabling av
3. reinstalling the ea app
4. letting steam install the ea app
5. reinstalling nfs heat/verifying the files

I hope I was clear enough, I hate not being able to play a game that I paid for. thanks
