NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered - Lobby Crash Hack

Yes, there's a big issue on NFS Hot Pursuit cross-play.  There's a PC Player jumping from lobby to lobby using a lobby crash hack so no one actually gets to play.  I've reported them but nothing's been done and the case I opened has been tagged as 'fixed'.  It's not fixed..... it's far from fixed.

The reporting function on the website just takes you round in circles.  I had to use the Live Chat.  The first case I logged was tagged as fixed the following day so I reported it again.  My case is currently sat there tagged as 'No Fix'.  

There is a fix for this.  Someone from EA spends an hour in hot pursuit mode, exotic class between 10pm and midnight gmt where they'll see for themselves what's going on.  This is above and beyond normal cheating..... people are literally unable to play the game online.

You are far from being alone. EA does not appear to enforce any of their rules in regard to cheating. If you report any players for cheating using EA App, nothing will happen.
If you come here to complaint in the forum you will get the same bot-like reply from peoples like @EA_Illium which is not helpful in the slightlest.

I will refrain from typing out the full names because of the ridiculous "name and shame" forum rule but anyway, the following 4 players starting by

Prys * * * * * *

use hacks to prevent the lobbies from starting util everyone but them have left. If they do not freeze the lobby they will use cheats of all kind ruining the lobby.

It's ridiculous that there is some cheaters that i have seen on the same day that i bought the game are still free to cheat.

There is a Youtuber that publicly give cheats know as Weaver Cattle Company. Please don't come with "name and shame" as this player is self-reporting by uploading those cheating video. Guess what? He is still not banned to this day.

This isn't a lobby freeze which can be done simply by the host sitting on the select event map screen.

This is someone coming into the lobby and kicing everyone back to the menu screen.  Someone msgd me a couple of days ago and told me it's a well known playstation player on a pc account.  Not sure how true it is but it kind of makes sense it's them.

Atm a lot of us aren't getting to play at all, some have stopped playing completely and if it carries on it'll just get harder and harder to find people to play against.

"Normal" cheating is a lot easier to deal with.  For one thing, they don't seem to have a long attention span and tend to leave after a couple of games lol.  It's still frustrating though and ruins a good lobby.  Like you I've reported people, sent in clips and nothing happened to them. It's just a case of taking our money and moving on to the next game to fill the company coffers some more.

I understand people are using this crash hack on several different games.  It has the potential to severely disrupt online gaming and if I was EA I'd jump at the chance to try and understand how it works, but like you say, they're not interested.

Yes i'm aware the host can hold the lobby by staying in the select gamemode/map.

But the 4 obfuscated names can brick the lobby between the garage/world (loading screen) Therefor, everyone is forced to close their game or cut their internet to get themselves booted.

I think i may know which player you are talking about. His name on console is know as... ironically the same name as the old game launcher EA replaced with EA App.

He booted my lobby as well.

I made a last attempt to report a very problematic player that went as far to impersonate my name and steal my pfp to play with cheat to give me a bad reputation through EA customer service, the answer itself i got was great however, as you may expect, no action was taken despite the fact he was impersonating AND cheating evidence were given (3days ago), a friend of mine saw this cheater today. (thankfully he changed name already)
I am never going to buy an other EA game after this experience.

Ah, ok.  Sorry, I'm with you now.  I know what hack you mean, although tbh I didn't realise it was a hack.  I thought it was a connection/server issue.  I'll pay more attention next time, although not sure there's much point.  As you say EA don't do anything.  I know they're busy but the support with these issues has been terrible.

Someone imitating you is awful, utterly toxic.  At least they've changed their name now.  It's no consolation but I guess the only thing to remember is that imitation is the highest form of flattery.  They're probably upset because you've beaten them a few times. Some people can't accept that it's not possible to win all the time and resort to cheating and toxicity.

Yh, the EA app.  Spot on! !!!  I understand he's going to some trouble to make it look like it's not him but the person who told me is convinced and has a fair bit of evidence, albeit anecdotal.  Not sure why he's doing it.  I've certainly never done anything to him, I always play fair, I don't cheat, team kill or use glitches.  If he wants the game all to himself and his mates then there's an easier way of doing it.  Set up a private lobby.  Much quicker than wasting hours all night, every night stopping everyone else from playing.  

TwinShards, im in ur lobby and i want to say please stop crashing the lobby... Your a hacker you literally ruin the game and make it worse for everyone, im not sure if thats you or the so called "Hacker" you mentioned, but seriously dude knock it off its geniunely annoying

This issue is still on-going.  The person responsible has been reported to EA via livechat numerous times by myself and several others.  Can you please tell me why are EA ignoring us?

You're saying i've been breaking lobbies which is utterly false and defamation. I'm what is know as a "white hat hacker" and thus far every times i have seen you in a lobby you were cheating which resulted with me making sure you would leave the game.

There's no place for cheating and unfortunately the EA staff are completely useless. They do not ban cheaters even if we try our best to report those cheater with video evidence.
