HiI just installed Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered on my gaming Laptop. After going through all initial options, I come to the stage where I have to choose car and then start racing.To start the race, the screen shows the option of "up" arrow key but nothing happens after it. I am unable to start the race. Please help in this regard.The game just doesn't seem to accept the up arrow key which is otherwise working fine on my laptop.RegardsMayank

OK thanks, well that's progress of a sort. Did anything show up in Event Viewer? it's ok if not, but sometimes they show up helpful info.

Also, just to double check, can you ensure your Windows doesn't have any pending updates?

Hi.
I am shutting down this troubleshooting process.
Can't find anything that would disturb the game.
I will now uninstall the game.
If you come up with an update in the future, you can get in touch.
Then maybe it works as it should. I want to play.

The game worked for 110 hours.
What happened then?

Hi,
Game does not launch for me either. I am starting it from the EA Desktop beta app and black screen comes, then exits in 3 seconds. Game does not launch. This is why I paid for EA account and it does not work at all. Shame.

I know its way late but others might benefit from this... Is it the UP ARROW or the SHIFT symbol? Arrow inside a SQUARE bos is the UP arrow, Arrow in Rectangular box is Shift. Its hard to tell sometimes

@SumthnWckd For me both don't work lol, in the control settings if I assign a button for left shift its a fat arrow but up button is skinny arrow. My game shows skinny arrow to start the game. Super confusing!
