NFS: hotpursuit remastered (2020) - SOUND DOES NOT WORK

HI Team, 

installed the game using the origin client and now when i launch it sound does not work. 

The sound on my laptop works very well. I can play music or youtube videos without any issue. However, the sound on NFS does not work. it is simply like muted. 

I am using Windows 10 with Directx 12. 

Please suggest what am i missing ?

    @Shravee4all Can you try running a repair in Origin by right-clicking on NFS in your library and selecting the repair option?
