NFS: MW. Game crashes when Most Wanted even is starting

Hello,

I am having a strange issue where the game crashes when I am starting a Most Wanted event.  About 4 out of 5 times starting a WM event the app/game will crash.  Rebooting the machine does not seem to resolve the issue, and again it doesn't always happen (just usually)  It also doesn't matter if I press ESC to bypass the mini movie, the game will still crash.  And by crash I mean the entire game shuts down.

I am running Win8.1, SSD, 12gb ram.  I have a multi monitor setup via two AMD graphics cards, which if this helps; I have not been able to span the game over multiple montors even through the game's settings allow me to set it, it does not display on multiple monitors.  Please let me know what other specs or details you need.
