Same issue here! I had to use all my gold to open/accomplish event 2. Event 10 also defect.

  I was stuck at event 2 as well and had to spend 160 to get passed it, I am now stuck on event 10 again. Have you solved yours and what the heck is going on? I am running out of time and I really want this car.
