Why do people make such a big deal over 60fps IMO 30fps is good enough. human reaction time is 250 milliseconds each frame at 30fps is displayed for 33 miliseconds (7 frames have gone by before you can react) so tell me how it makes a big difference or makes 30fps unplayable or not worth it. Yes 60fps is smoother and technically better but it is overkill IMO. my pc can handle 60 fps so i leave it on that but i have tried both and i did not feel that 60fps improved my experience at all, it felt the same to me.

I don't really make a big deal out of 60 FPS, but when the opportunity is there, I will definitely trade graphics and maybe even resolution for a higher framerate:
-Quickest recorded reaction time is 100 milliseconds, meaning only 3 frames would go by if the fastest reacting person had to react to 30FPS.
-Supposedly, lower framerate can increase input lag.
-Although 30 FPS can make human animations look more natural, it's better for a physics-based game to have 60 FPS so that you can pick apart exactly what is happening and see the fine details unfold. (Ex: Suspension absorbing bumps) Also ties in with reactions, as being able to make out even the slightest of movement easier could help with reacting.
-60 FPS also requires less motion blur per frame to look smooth.
