Hello,
i have the same problem. From one moment to another the game stops responding to the keyboard and the last pressed buttons seem to be "stuck". Besides that, the game runs fine with 30 fps (the limit of this game) in Full HD and max details on my rig.
I tried the hints above, but they didn't help. Setting the affinity to only CPU core makes the game additionally unplayable slow.
Additionally, i tried/checked the following things without success:
- Made sure that Win 10 x64 and all drivers are up to date
- Made sure that the game and Origin are up to date
- Used Origins "Repair game" feature
- Enabled Origins "Offline mode" before launching the game
- Set "AllDriver" to "Single Player" and disabled "Overwatch"
- The only firewall and antivirus tools running are the ones integrated in Win 10
- Made sure that the game is allowed to access the Internet by the firewall
- Also tried it with all Internet access from the game blocked by the firewall
- Disabled "Origin In-game"
- My keyboard works fine in Windows, office programs and all other games
- My keyboard is a simple ordinary one that doesn't have special software or drivers
- No gamepad or other controller is connected to my Pc
- Tried playing with the x86 executable
- Made sure that my Internet connection is "free" (someone in another thread got a similar problem on PS 3 where no free network bandwith was the reason for this issue)
- Disabled all not required programs in the background
- Scanned my system for viruses (and nothing was found)
- Tried Win 7 and 8 compatiblity mode without success
- Checked the Windows event log (and nothing related to the game is there)
- Cleaned up my PC with CCleaner
- Used chdisk in order to check for HDD errors
My rig:
- Phenom I 9950 BE CPU (Quadcore, 4 x 2,6 Ghz)
- 6 GB RAM
- Geforce 560 Ti 1 GB VRAM videocard
- X-Fi Xtreme Gamer soundcard
- Win 10 Pro x64 (installed on SSD, game is installed on a HDD)
- 3 MBit down- and 1,5 MBit upstream Internet connection (PC is connected to the router via ethernet cable)
Greetings
