NFS Rivals: Keyboard (still) not working

Hi all,

I've seen already many people complain about their keyboard crashing while being in-game after approx. 5-10 minutes, and I have the same issue. After a few minutes (sometimes only 5 minutes, sometimes half an hour), it seems like connection with the keyboard is lost and it get 'stuck' in whatever buttons you pressed on last. Then I'm forced to shut the game down with CTRL+ALT+DEL, losing all my progress since I left the garage. I never have any issues with my keyboard, so it is a in-game problem.

Now I've seen many different solutions, but none of them seems to be working. I've tried:

- deleting the GAMESETTING-file

- running in Windows 7 compatibility mode

- updating my keyboard drivers (they are up-to-date)

- repairing the game with Origin's repair tool

- starting the game with both NFS14.exe file and NFS14_x86.exe file

- setting up new desktop shortcuts

- changing the resolution in PROFILEOPTIONS_profile file

- plugging all usb-devices out and in again.

I really hope one of you could help me out, because it's really frustrating to keep starting over after a few minutes... I use Windows 10 x64 which should easily run the game.

I'm out of ideas, if any of you could help me out it's really appreciated! Much thanks in advance.
