NFS WHY U NO HAVE NFS Underground CUSTOMIZATION .-.?

With these beautiful next gen graphics why we no have the customization abilities we had for previous games like the underground series...Or carbon..or pro street.... or really any of the older games.  Theres soooo many things the other games offer that we would loved to have seen.  Like muscle cars, Wheelies, SICK CUSTOMIZATION INSIDE AND OUT, NEONS, HARDCORE police chases etc.

  • So correct me if i'm wrong... If it had neons (which it will probably in the next update) you would have no problem with customization?
Thing is NFS underground 3 is keeping it authentic instead of RICE IT UP to the max with imaginary body kits. It has it pros and cons. It looks completely authentic and amazing but the con side of it is that you can't do much of the customization by yourself by mixing body kits for your own liking. I would perhaps try to unlock them and see how mixing goes... Tho parts might not go well with one another (there might be some clipping issues and what not).

as im a 3D graphic designer myself, i know there won't be any clipping problems, its mainly licencing problems, i don't know why EA/Ghost can agree on having there own made-up parts and not rely on copyrights or licensing( would be easier). Everything is said easliy, but when you graphics extend to this lengh of detail and lighing, it easier said then done. If they do figure a way to get it done without causing to much drop in frame rate (talking about underglow) it would ground breaking for them. I hope they figure it out how to expand this game, but not break the minimal requirements to run this game, which is what i amusing is the problem. this game came out and on to the shelves way too early.

Well it is not just the mixing of the kits. Every car just seems to have a few pieces.  At least in NFS carbon you could autosculpt it and make it slightly more unique.  And saying we need more options and neons/leds isn't exactly "ricing it up" if it is done with good taste.  But either way, this is a game to live out some dream customizations on cars you like.  Like IF I want to ruin a supra with lambo doors in a virtual world. I should be able to ruin my Supra lol.  Its not exactly a "why would you want to" its more of a "Why shouldn't we be able to?"

"why shouldn't we be able to?" said because it's dumb and stupid. This need for speed is not about such things.

So having auto sculpting at least is dumb and stupid?  Being able to choose from more than like 6 bumpers and like 3 body kits is stupid?  If customization was not the point, then it would be like hot pursuit and you can only change the color.  Because the point of this game seems to just be multiplayer since customization isn't the point and is apparently stupid.  Because the police are no fun, the customization is limited, some of the racing mechanics are a bit awkward, there really isn't the car selection there used to be in previous titles either.  I respect your opinion but I just fail to see how wanting customization is stupid.  The wrap editor is cool, and I am just saying it would be cool to be able to autosculpt or something.  The cars you create can just be cars, or they can be art.  I know every car I create takes no less than an hour and sometimes feels incomplete because I had to go with the best looking body kit out of like 3.

I do agree that using REAL body kits is not a bad thing and the "RICE EM UP" Body kits are not what this game is going for.  BUT if the game is going for realism, RICE EM UP car culture is not a distant fairy tale.  All I would like is to be able to alter the body kits slightly and I would be settled on this matter lol.
