NFSMW 2012 Ltd No mouse, no cursor...

I have the new NFSMW 2012 and have not yet found how to use the mouse...I don't even see the cursor on the screen.  What's with this?  No mouse functionality?  A bug?  Downloaded from Origin, limited edition, Windows 7 Pro, Dell XPS 17, Nvidia 3 GB.

2016/02/06 and still no answer to this.  I had returned the game at the time because I could not modify anything in the menus and after playing for only 3 days I had more than half of the game done...boring...plus, the advertising had us believe that it would be possible to play two people from the same PC in split-screen view like we could do with NFSHS.  Again, now that the game is free on the house, I installed and still no mouse/cursor in the menus, unable to use the left arrow key to change any settings, I am forced to abandon the game!!!  Can not anyone answer??
