Nissan 180SX Slow and Evo's wont upshift

Purchased the NFS Deluxe XBox One X and find that my Nissan  180SX is getting blow away in all races as it's acceleration and speed is much to slow and can't ever catch up. Also tried loading the EVO's from my garage and they can't shift past 1 gear? What going on with this game?
