Thanks for advises, however they doesn't work, will try again for few hours. I simply can't get him and that's all. What was yours' times in the 5.4 hunter?
I'm not going to spend more gold on the event, as the car is not worth of it, in my opinion.
The event shows again how greedy EA is. Is there anybody with no VIP points, who spend a little gold and finished the event? I assume there is not.
@NFS_Sandro exactly my situation, I am VIP level 9 but i spent money way on the beginning of the game, prior to special events.
I'm give up.... I try every time and I cannot win... I wait for someone who say: That's not hard, just your skill, you must drift close to corners and use nitro frequently, but IT DOESN'T WORK. EA has last chance to change the future dodge charger event...
In case someone wants to know the max PR of this car: it is weaker than RX-7.
It is impossible to tell. Seems like you did something different, for example:
- Upgraded parts (especially acceleration and nitro parts)
- Drifted intelligently (not more, not less)
- Took the corners properly (with minimal steering)
- Saved your nitro and used it on the straighter part of the track
- Skipped (sacrificed) the jump in order gain more acceleration
- Did not touch/hit/scratch the walls, or your opponent
All of these things count when you face high PR opponent on shorter races.
With the first Fastlane special event ended, I want to do two things.
First, I want to congratulate anyone who had completed the first Fastlane special event and got the Nissan 180SX Type X. Kudos to you! (I got the Nissan 180SX Type X too)
Second, I want to sympathize to anyone who had trouble winning the two pesky Hunter races and didn't complete the first Fastlane special event on time. I really feel sorry for you guys.
I guess you guys would call this "The first FailLane special event".
Hopefully the issues in this Fastlane special event won't happen on the second Fastlane special event.

You can see in the videos that he drifts very slightly to maintain speed and overtook his opponent on the outside.

@scottfollett Now that's funny because I only got one useful item from refreshing the Fastlane store with 30,000 Event Credits. I got trolled HARD by the Fastlane store.
