Not able to connect to EA server (Nintendo Switch)

We are having the issue with son’s profile is not able to login into the EA server to use Crossplay and to play online.

My son is part our Family Online Service and I accepted the terms to give EA access to his Nintendo account. Still no luck for him to connect under his Profil. Also not able to change the Crossplay option to on in the settings.

Not sure what else to do?

@Scrubicius I think this is an issue for all Nintendo Switch accounts with Child accounts of ages 10 - 12. I called EA on it and they pointed to it being a Nintendo problem. I called up Nintendo and they said it was and EA problem as none of the errors are theirs. Currently waiting on Nintendo as I asked them to escalate this issue internally. They in turn told me to keep asking to get EA to look at it. So please open a help ticket with both EA and Nintendo so that they can see that its many people having this issue so that they actually decide to fix this problem.

I've got an issue also where I can't connect to the EA Servers on our Switch. We have a family account for that too, yet I am trying to access the game through one of the adult accounts without parental settings. It is coming up with 'Error code 10005' - saying 'Please check your internet connection, make sure the Platform Client is online and try again'. There's nothing wrong with our internet connection and I can't see that the EA server is down at all. Really hope that EA provides a solution to this soon, it is really frustrating to have this issue! Very little help available either for Switch on here for checking the servers - it seems EA have more set up for the other game platforms ☹️

It’s seems to be a EA issues since other games have no issues playing online with his account.

Not sure why EA choice a complicated and not so user friendly system comparing other games. It’s also a little unfair to sale a game to a age group which is not aloud to play the full product.

we will have to see what EA has to say.
