Something needs to be done about the npc traffic. It is always in the way at the perfect moment, either by stopping in the middle of the road, or pulling out on you just as you turn a corner. This affects both races and getting chased by police. It is really infuriating.

It's impossible to react when you can't see them coming. It's like the game spawns them in too fast. I'm fine at weaving through the traffic I can see before me.
If a car really spawns in front of you, you get some frames of invulnerability.
If the car spawns at enough distance, you have to avoid it.
I personally find it as another skill curve to climb... yes it is quite RNG based, but if you learn to run on the sides or in the middle of the street, specially when about to come across a blind turn, you should be able to avoid the worst. 🤓
Thats the NFS racing game mechanic lol gotta try to make it more challenging some how. Yes, it may * us off when we are winning but its that emotion a game can bring out of us that makes it worth it.
I’ve been having an issue with traffic stopping in the same lane of travel & mid intersections or when they are turning I’ve had them stop in my lane of travel at about 200 ish yards away like a deer in headlights when coming up on them running from police or in a race blazing a straights going 180+
This isn’t normal traffic behavior as people are usually committing to there driving decisions unless they are just a terrible driver in this. In this case Heats AI traffic is okay but it shows it’s dumb simple coding often, and traffic does seem to be heavier at night often I notice.
Yeah and it seems as soon as oyu see them when you are going 200 MPH they have both lanes filled..they are crossing each other every time

I'm driving too fast in a game title 'Need For Speed'? Maybe the devs need learn how to code traffic properly. Or maybe they should have just called the game Need To Dodge Traffic.
@GioniroTOFU My cars maxed out so I’m usually flying around at 340+kms/h and cars do have a tendency of spawning in your face but I actually seem to be going fast enough to phase right through them unaffected. I’ve even managed to floor it down a freeway into on coming traffic going through several in a row as long as theyre freshly spawned.
