While playing one of the campaign missions "got my back" you have to take down shaw and no matter what I do I do no damage to him at all. And i have tired it 5 times and always fail. Needs to be fixed because it makes the game not playable and no fun.
Did this one first try and in 2 hits. Just wait for the corners, he turns late, and drive full speed into the side of his car.
Currently level 23, I never bother with Heat level 3, as soon as I get close I just head back to a safe house and reset. The risk for Heat 3 is too high to make it worthwhile.
The only method I found that actually does damage, Is to spin him out, put enough distance between him and yourself, make a u-turn, and ram him full speed straight on. I've tried smashing into his side and it doesn't work at all. I waited for him to take that late turn while he follows anna and I've plowed him going 150 and sent his car flying. Doesn't do *.
Did this mission while level 50. Found I caused the most damage when matching shaws speed and giving him slight rams from the side which would do a quarter damage per ram. Attempting to hit shaw at top speed wouldnt scratch him so im just guessing the damage detection is a bit clunky when colliding at high speeds.
To reaffirm what Mecha is saying, I don't think any of the mustangs are doing any damage at all, had to switch to different car to do this mission

I’ve had the exact same problem I’ve went around a big circle 5 times in one Missin hitting him everywhere possible to no damage. Also after the first lap he stopped dealing Ana damage almost entirely too. I also would never take damage. Something is seriously bugged and I hate to see it from this game because I love it a lot!!
UPDATE I switched cars from a ‘15 mustang to the new challenger and it beat Shaw in 3 hits. I am also on the PS4 console if that helps EA fix the bug!!
It took me two tries . The first time , I slid into the grass and my car is super weak off-road and npc were far from me and I think her names ana ? Her life went to 75% . Anyways, restart and as soon I did a pit maneuver, I smashed the gas and hit the driver door and it was over . I’ll shoot the link of the video . I used my 65 mustang and maxed out.
