Origin friends don't show up in friendslist, everyone in multiplayer is level 1

None of my origin friends show up in the Need for speed the run friendslist which means I can't compete in group objectives. Also, everyone in multiplayer appears as level 1 with default icon, even ...

It's not a problem with your system it's EA. I along with my friends have the same issue so I asked the same question and EA contacted me back saying they are looking into the problem. It been like this since the frist of the year so who knows if it will get fixed or not.
