origin web site issue with Shift 2 Unleashed on Win XP

I purchased the PC download version of Shift 2 Unleashed Limited Edition from EA Store back on March 6, 2011, before Origin service started (June, 2011). I'm running Shift 2 on Windows XP. While running from Windows XP, when I login to Origin, and go to my games library, I can see my games, which includes Shift 2 Unleashed Limited Edition, and the Speed Hunters DLC pack. However, if I click on the game icon, instead of a download option, all I see is a game title, a blank space and "Only Available On Windows", attached is a partial screen capture image. My guess is that Origin's web site has Shift 2 tagged as  Windows 7 game, but it's system requirements show Win XP / Vista / 7.

I currently have Shift 2 installed, but I'm concerned if I ever need to download and reinstall Shift 2.

With the most recent version of Origin there should be no problem.

The two versions of the game you refer to will be identical in-game.

Can you check for any available Origin update please?

Let us know if you are able to play after updating Origin, thanks.

I currently have Shift 2 Unleashed Limited Edition installed, and it's running, without Origin installed. My concern is about what I see on the Origin web page, specifically the blank space as seen in the image posted, and if I would be able to download and reinstall in the future.

Is the Origin version of Shift 2 Unleashed different than the EA Store (pre-Origin) version of Shift 2 Unleashed?

For Windows XP, you need to download  a legacy version. This is the current link.

    https://www.dm.origin.com/download/legacy

I downloaded it, but I haven't tried it as Shift 2 is currently running. If I have time, I can test this by uninstalling Shift 2 and trying a reinstall via Origin. If there's an issue I have a backup of my partitions that I can restore to get back to my current state.
