PC - NFS Heat - Game freezes and exits to desktop shortly into most races

I've played through a lot of the game and wasn't having many issues until recently, now whenever I enter a race with higher end cars (300+ performance) the game freezes and exits to the desktop about 5 - 10 seconds into the race. The lower end races don't seems to crash from what I've tested. I can be in the garage and be in freeroam and it runs fine.

I've tried to reinstall the game,

restarted my PC then driven to the event within a couple of minutes and its still crashes (before and after the changes below),

updated Nvidia drivers,

cleared the cache for Origin,

reduced and improved graphic settings,

disabled in-game origin and the cloud sync on and off,

disabled the optimisations for fullscreen in the .exe settings,

disabled the xbox game bar.

My PC specs are as follows:

I7-7700k

GTX1080

48gb DDR4 Ram

500gb SSD

Any way to fix this? 

Update: I was having this problem in my 180SX and Skyline R34, switched to my S15 and can race without any issues, hope this helps anyone having the same problem, would be nice to see a fix asap.

    Installed game today and it crashes my Windows 10 (sad screen of death). Intel 8086K, 32GB DDR4, 1080TI. BF5, Far Cry5, AC Odyssey, Outer Worlds etc all play fine at 4K with max settings, no crashes. When NFS crashes I was able to extract some info caused was DX related: dxgkrnl.sys. I've re-ran Prime95 and Intel Burn test to make sure my system is stable while watching CPU temps, everything is completing with no errors. Installed latest nvidia driver - no changes. So I believe at this point that this is something in the game coding that crashes machines.

    My game keeps crashing after a few corners in a race with my Sylvia S15. When I use another car it ist just fine.

    @EA_Barry I've not driven the Evo X at all during my whole play through.

    I've tested if liveries make any difference, as mentioned on the post you've linked, however that's inconsistent at best as it works for a couple of races then crashes to desktop again.
