[PC] Audio Issues

Game just launched, I couldn't hear anything of the first cutscenes... Really bad first impression. Any idea on how I can fix this? I already tried changing my headset to stereo sound from surround but it still goes like this.

By checking your dxdiag I've sadly come to the conclusion that your system does not meet the minimum requirements for Need for Speed. This could lead to issues with the game not launching, crashing, or even the sound not working. You can double-check this by visiting Can You Run It.

At the same time if you do get the game running, please check your Speaker settings in lower-right corner of your taskbar. It could be that Need for Speed is muted by default.

    Hi @Alexandretss127

Finding sound devices and updating sound drivers on your PChttp://help.ea.com/en/article/finding-devices-and-updating-drivers/

Try in your Origin client, right clicking on game icon NFS and select Repair Game and Check for Updates.

And do not forget to check the audio settings of the game NFS for not to be closed- mute or to low.

Updating your Origin client to the latest Beta version /top left Origin menu, Application Settings - General.

    HI,

After playing yesterday, I notice that the game only play in 2.1 audio output.

My Pc is configured to play 7.1 and every game installed on my PC play perfectly 5/7.1.

In the game setting I use the “Optimized for sound system”.

I’m using a GTX970 plugged HDMI to my Yamaha RX-V675.

Windows 10 64bit sound card configured in 7.1 outputs

Does anyone have the same problem?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

I have installed NFS via origin and on loading, I have no sound through the intro or once I'm in game. appreciate a look into this as its tough to enjoy a racing game with no sound!
