Is it possible to use a wired PS4 controller to play my NFS Heat PC game like you can with a X Box controller?

Star Wars: Jedi: Fallen Order works fine with it, but NFS Heat isn't letting me open up the map with it, and its not letting me remap. I don't know why because the game came out on PS4.. Quite annoying

PS4 controller is supported it just gives you the layout for an Xbox controller. To open the map you have to hit the share button and not the touchpad because an Xbox controller does not have a touchpad so the game does not recognize the touchpad as a button.

Install and use the DS4 drivers for windows, it'll emulate the ps4 controller as an xbox 360 controller and the buttons all work in the game, same as opening the map will work with the share button. This site will tell you everything! http://ds4windows.com/

So it will work like an xbox controller only problem is you need to hit M on the keyboard to open the map cus they dont have the ps4 controller mapped for PC so the center button doesnt work for the map like it should

Hey @KillJoyDOD the PS4 controller is not a supported input method for NFS:H on PC. There is no harm trying it to see if it works but that said there is no guarantee that it will.

@EA_Darko Are all EA games like that on PC? What about controllers made for PCs? Why be so limited? This definitely affects my future consideration for buying EA games through Origin.

Despite the map issue, does every other ps4 controller settings works fine?

@jayvaidy on NFS heat, I use the keyboard to get the map etc, but I can't figure out how to fast travel, or quit the game. I can use the PS4 controller but the right trigger for the accelerator is only on/off, not graduated. Trying to find a fix for that. I used DS4 when I tried to play project cars 2 on pc with a ps4 controller.

Who the hell thought that was a good idea? I just got a PC, and now I can’t play the one game I wanted to see in 60+ FPS because the PS4 controller doesn’t work. Are you kidding me? That is dumbest, laziest * I have ever seen.
