@AlowgoHolly cr@p you're right. I just loaded up the game to play and again same issue. 20-25 fps. I dunno what happened last time that it started working, but now it's the same da@m issue.
I think it has something to do with the Frostbyte 3 engine, because the new Star Wars game is doing the same thing.
I'm canceling my subscription and asking for a refund. This is bullsh1t.
Star Wars is making me crazy as well. I get 40-50 FPS without CPU or GPU load going above 80%. I don't know if there are any updates for it, I had to "try" it first after my Heat experience. *cough* The last thing I wanted to do was spending more money for a very poor gaming experience. ^^ It definitely has to be the engine. I have no problems with other games. If there are FPS drops, there is always GPU load spiked at the top, so there is a reason! Not like SW or Heat... :-/
- 6 years ago@Tomiss13 Nice. Yeah UBISoft makes some of the best games, and they all run smoothly on most computers. Never had any serious performance issues with any other games out there like this. But with EA both the new SW game and NFS HEAT are just unplayable due to crazy drop in frames. I play ANNO 1800 and on highest settings it eats my gpu and cpu almost to 95% but plays a smooth 100 frames or so at 1080p resolution. This game doesn't come close to 60% gpu and like 40% cpu usage and still lags to the point of unplayability.

Howdy All:
Well coming up this week it will have been a month now that my game has been un-playable in it's current state.
Yet I have not heard anything from EA or Ghost on how they are planing to fix this mess that they have left the majority of they fan with an un-playable game!
I have never ever had an issue with a games' update making the game un-playable like this! Way to go GHOST GAMES! BRAVO!
Maybe they should consitter giving us an update to rolling back the game to the last version (1.4), So that we all can get back to playing while the DEVs sort out the issue with patch (1.5).
Thanks for reading.
Happy Motoring to the ones' still able to play.

Howdy All:
It's nice to hear that wheel support is being added in Tuesday's patch. That's something that I was hoping would of been in the game to start with.
But unless this patch will fix this FPS issue that myself and others are having to deal with. The wheel support wouldn't help me at all if I can't play the game!
Just stating a fact about the game in it's current condision.
Thanks for reading and I hope to see you all in the game after tomorrow.

Howdy All:
Well today I got the chance to load up NFS®: Heat and install the lastest patch.
After loading up the game a few times as to do a few tests to see if my issue was fixed or not!
So I am please to say that if you were having the issue that I had, the patch FIXED this issue for me.
My game is now running the same way it was running before the DANGEROUS PATCH was released slightly more then a month ago.
I guess better late then never. Thank You EA and Ghost games.
Now that my game is running again, it's time to plug in my wheel and see if I can still play, but of course this time with my wheel.
But I know one thing for sure and that is I won't hold my breath.
Thanks for reading.
Happy Motoring
