Yeah it's a great idea like in NFS UG2, there are you could adjust many different parameters of performance and test it on the training track. I'm dreaming about it!

  • Head, Block, ECU, Turbo, Exhaust and Transmission are six parts you can put on you car.

Aside from certain parts having a nitrous bonus where is the actual nitrous part?

Also where are the tire parts? How do we adjust how much drift/grip the tire has?

    The suspension Parts? Handling parts

Brake parts? Will we be able to tune those?

aside from bonuses on the parts will we be able to fine tune it?

I hope the next reveal will clarify this

To be honest i don't like the idea of winning parts after races or the parts having bonuses it was one of the things i hated about the crew (among other things, but i am not here to bash the crew). i just want to pick the parts and tune it my way

Yes , All of the six parts are correct , But let me clear a few things up.

    1. How do you adjust Grip , Suspension ect ect? Just like the last game , Above the car you want to tune you have this symbol  This will let you tune what ever there is to tune (At the moment of typing this we dont know what there is for us to tune.)

    2. Brake parts , I am 99% sure we will get this option again. You will need to buy new brakes for you to be able to tune them the way you want.

    3. Bonuses with parts.. Kind of a tricky question to answer but ill try my best. You get a bonus for every Set of parts you comeplete , There are a few brands in the game and if all your parts are from X brand you will get a bonus. Nitrous parts i believe can be bought separately though i am not sure.

    4. Of course you can fine tune your setup how ever you want , Nothing needs to be from the same brand at all , If you need that part then go for it! Dont waste your time on looking for that part but with a different brand on it!

  • Exactly. Like NFS Carbon, a useful feature was the ability to tune the engine upgrade, to get more torque (lower-to-mid rev range torqueyness) or more horsepower (which will help top speed wise and give the engine a higher rev limiter, which was nice considering i was able to shift at 11k rpm with my RX-8 😃)
The Turbocharger upgrades had the option to give more power down low or on the upper rev range.

The Suspension allowed us to tune the car for more oversteer or more understeer.

    And along those lines.

Something similar to this would "uncomplicate" things and make them more interesting to use.

While I too would like to be able to select each individual part to upgrade, it seems like they're simplifying it. The performance parts are the top 6 listed above. Things like tires, brakes, suspension will all be handled on the visual customization side.

In NFS 2015 you could have stock brakes, tires and suspension in the tuning menu and you could still add aftermarket tires, brake discs and rotors, and you could adjust the stance in the visual customization menu.

Looks like they did away with that, so you'll actually be spending less money to upgrade. I don't know how the tuning will play in though, maybe the tire you select in the visual with dictate how much grip/slide you can adjust in the tuning menu?

I have played NFS 2015 so i am aware you could tune your handling. I was meaning to ask if tires for grip to drift be purchasable or will we simply tune it with a slider without any purchase, same for brakes.

i am hoping nitrous is purchasable as i would like to choose between time refill and action refill depending on the car.

as for the fine tuning aspect i am hoping that the performance can be tuned like transmission to short gears, mid-range gears or long gears (i heard it was on off road class, but i want it on all). engine to torque or horsepower, turbo to low RPM or High RPM
