I just wanted to hop on and mention that I had the issue you had for the pre-order on PC, but no pre-order acknowledgement. This is what happened:
- Both the website and the guy there told me that a code will be printed out on the reciept.
- When day it released, I picked up the game.
- While there, I looked at the reciept and asked the lady that was there "Where will the code be for the pre-order bonus?" and she said "It would be in the box I think. If there was any more codes, it would print out on the reciept." (Side note, she was actually happy to hear me saying that I was picking up a PC copy at the time. Something about never hearing anyone pre-order PC and pickup during her shift) She then told me that if I am missing something, I could come back.
- I opened the box outside and saw only one code: The code that I would later use as the activation on Origin. I was questioning if they did one of those Code Tag things where they link the pre-order with a code (though unlikely).
- I got home, let it install.
- As it finished, I double checked the game detail page. I noted I was missing something extra if there was an extra pre-order as a DLC unlocker thing, it should have been noted right then and there in the list. All I had as an option was the Time Saver pack. So I first went through the training on each side.
- First time, didn't see the car. So I kept going through the training. Once finished, I double checked and still didn't see the cars.
- At this point, I went and contacted EA with their agents. One of them was able to help me. After providing proof of purchase and explained what had happened, this agent was actually baffled more that there was no code.
- From my understanding, they went into my account and force-added the code (after of course they saw the proof of course). They then told me to log out and log back in. When I came on, Rivals did a very quick download of something. They then told me to get into the game and check.
- Bam! Both the viper on Racer and the GT-R from cop was there.
I mean, that is all I can really say. Even getting them into the game was no error even a day, 2 days, or a couple of days after. The only thing I wish for is what has been mentioned so many times on the FPS lag is having some more solid framerates, but when it is less of an impact, it works.
Thanks for giving me your experience. I've been looking all over for info to contact EA and ask them about it, but alas I can't find **bleep** because thats the new thing to do these days, to hide the support emails and have people go to social mediawith their problems, which easily go overlooked. This whole experience is very annoying, how dare they say they can't give a refund. Sure the game is good, I liked it, I finished it, but now having to go through all this bullsht to find someone to cantact, I wish I never bought the game and I would rather have my data wiped and receive my money back to teach EA to fix their sht.
Rant off: Yeah we were supposed to receive a special code via email (I'm pretty sure) but of course, that never happened. And when contacting Gamestop, they were clueless on the matter. I however contacted Gamestop again, asking for some contact info from EA. I hope I get it, because I'm not the type of person to buy many games aside from on Steam. Gamestop and EA/Origin both are screwing themselves if I have a bad experience and start sharing it with other people

I understand. I just went through the normal help. Pretty much find my relavance, keep going with it, then when it says if I want further help than this provides, I go there and click online agent. That is how I got there.
