Buying Classic crates with In-Game Cash and Premium crates with Gold involves gambling. You're gambling your In-Game Cash or Gold in hopes of getting something you want.
You just got unlucky from the looks of your screenshot.
Besides, you would see Subaru BRZ blueprints as one of the prizes that could be won from Premium crates.
