Pro Street installation problems
Hi. I'm trying to install NFS Pro Street (Top Series edition) on PC. Sadly tho, Halfway through the installation process, the installation freezes and nothing else happens. I'm running Windows 10, legit version, and have bought the game also legitimately. Upon installation I can accept all the terms, type in my product code, but when I press "Install", the green install bar only rises halfway, the just freezes. The white flashing still occurs, so it's not crashing, but my disk reader (LG BH16NS40) sounds like it's having to read a particular section of the CD over and over. The disk is not scratched at all. I've also tried installing Hot Pursuit (2010), and the same problem occurred. I've also tried hooking an older disk reader (DVD-reader) up to my PC, but that doesn't work either. Can someone explain to me why this is happening, because the installation program itself sure isn't, and not knowing why this happens is more frustrating to me than not being able to play the game. You are most likely facing a compatibility issue with Windows 10. You can try the steps in our installation troubleshooting guide to solve this.
If that doesn't help, please contact a Game Advisor to see if they're able to add the digital version of the game for you--the digital version should be compatible.
