Solved

Product key activation problem.

Reinstalled the game after some time. I downloaded it right from my Origin game library page. However, when starting, it says the game isn't activated (or can't connect to the EA servers to activate).  After a few attempts, it gives me the option to manually enter the product key. I copied the key from my Origin game library. Problem is, when I click on the 'Enter Product Key' button on the screen... nothing happens. No input box appears for me, nothing. Any work around?

So sorry. I wanted to post an update but I ended up getting sidetracked. I was logged into Origin and even launched the game right from the Origin client. I could even mock purchase the game (it said I didn't own the game so I would log in to 'buy' the game again). So, my account name was right under. However, both times I tried must have been server related. I tried again the next day at a different time (the first two times I tried were on different days but around the same time) and it worked. I was able to start the game with no problem.

I want to confirm that you're able to see the game in Origin? If so, then this issue isn't related to you being on the wrong account.

If you then are unable to reach our registration servers you are looking at either a firewall or anti-virus blocking this connection. You can resolve that by following the connection troubleshooting in the following articles:

I want to add that in some cases a clean boot or disabling doesn't always work with a firewall or anti-virus. In those cases I would suggest to temporarily uninstall them.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
