yes, there are other threads on this. if you're going over 220 or 230 you'll hit load walls. game continues exactly where you were when it unfreezes, so it's... semi-dealable till fixed. only one time, i fell through the ground after it unfroze. fun stuff.
this doesn't seem to happen in all races - mostly just the longer Most Wanted races. It happens very early in one of them... I think 4? On the first main stretch, every time. Fortunately, most MW races seem to only have 1 main place this happens.
Actually this can happen in every situation; races, pursuits and free roaming. Just hit max speed with any car you will see that happen, it won't freeze for every car but you will see in some areas that you can't see the background around.

ok, terrible to hear it's happening all the time for you. it's bad enough that it only happens over 220 mph for me, in certain races.
