Psn friends not showing on friend list

5 of us are trying to play nfs but only two of us can see each other.

I can see johnthehitman and I get put into the same session as him when starting the game. However everybody else cannot see each other and I them.

In the app we can see each other and do overwatch but in game its like they dont exist.

Please help, if we can't get this working soon we will all be trading it in.

    Guys here's a possible Solution

    First off I couldn't see my PSN friend in "ALL DRIVE\FRIENDS" menu in the game for boosting so we both changed our Matchmaking Setting to Friends Game and then we both restarted our PS4's.
    After that I could see the other player as a friend in the game but they couldn't see me.
    Here is what we did so that the other player could see me:
    1. I joined their Friends Game
    2. While still in the game the other player deleted me as a psn friend
    3. I waited a few minutes and then sent them a friends request and they accepted
    4. After a few minutes we could both see each other under FRIENDS and were able to boost the trophies together
    If this doesn't work straight away then both players restart their PS4's again and hopefully it will work.
    I just did this with two different players who couldn't see me in friends and it worked.

    IF SOME EA/ORIGIN moderator is reading.. guys you really need to patch these really annoying bugs... its inbelievable that a huge company like EA can't repair this problem....

    This is still ongoing, no response from EA, do they not respond to these forums.  I have for the second day running tried to call them for what they say is a 4 minute wait yet 40 mins later still no answer.  Just tried to chat to someone live but same message as yesterday no way available.  This really is a joke, and they wonder why they have been voted the worse company.  I understand if there is a problem just let us know but not to respond or be able to contact you is poor.  Welll done EA another lost gamer.

    i have the same problem on psn. bought the game, but cant play with friends. I have tried everything to fix it, EA/Origin needs to fix.

    im having the exact same problem on ps4 i even added 3 new friends recently and none of them show up on the in game friends list so cant invite any of them ☹️ i also added one on origin itself and the request has been accepted and still nothing!!!!!

    But no one seems to be replying to this with a solution any help please (im on ps4)

    Happened to me too
    told my friends to go to ORIGIN.com website sign in to the account they have there when you have NFS RIVLAS
    And accept friend request I sent thru PSN NETWORK OVER WATCH
    because for some reason if you send the game invite thru regular PS "add a friend" , will not show your friend on NFS Rivals, have to link that friend request with the game friend list

    Problem Still on going I have friends that play and I can't see them on my friends list. I also had friends on my friends list and lost them and can no longer see them as well. What's the point of getting a game that you can't play with any of your friends on. Very disappointed with this issue and hope it gets resolved soon !!! I have friends that this is happening to as well....If anyone does come up with a fix please post 🙂 Thanks

    I have found out that if you beat both tutorials (racer & cops) it will give access to psn friends

    i have i question when i plat with my friend need for speed rivals on my ps4 i cant see him as a friend.

    why i go too origin he is a friend but not at platform psn.i have other friend who stands there i can see him in the game.why my other friend not ? thanks

    Same problem. No solution... I try all the things from all over the internet - no luck. 2 my friends see me in friend list, i don't. They get trophies - i don't. In recommendation i have 3 guys, but no friends from my psn friend list. EA don't want to fix this problem (it's exist from the start of game selling), now they have FIFA, so no more help to us =)
