Quitting speedlist causes game to freeze and erases all achievements.

A lot of people are still experiencing a corrupted game file when quitting speedlist, myself included. I had single player 98% completed and a lot of multiplayer cars and upgrades unlocked. Then I quit a speedlist event and the game froze on a loading screen. I had to restart the ps3 and now it's all gone. The game would constantly freeze while quitting speedlists but 3 times now it lost all of my progress.

Other issues that may be related: I'll choose a new plate then the next time I sign in, my plate's been reset to "start me up".

The game constantly disconnects from autolog even though I'm still online.

My speedlist rank and points are unaffected.

Are you working on this? From what I read on these blogs, this problem is common and has been going on for four months now, maybe longer.

After the billionth time of freezing and restarting the ps3 and the second time I lost all my saves and achievements, I deleted the whole game including all dlc, game data utility the saves from my hard drive. I downloaded and reinstalled most wanted, and all the dlcs. I bought the car unlocks and upgrades because of this, didn't have the patience to do it all over again a third time. While playing online, I quit a speedlist event. It froze on the loading screen and corrupted (lost) all my achievements again. I'm on the verge of asking for a complete refund. At the very least, I should be reimbursed for the time saver dlc. I earned all that but downloaded it only because the game kept losing my achievements.

This happened twice before I clicked on concours and the final time the game was ruined was after in case anyone thinks concours is the culprit.

The funny thing is I can't replicate the problem. I'm quitting speedlists to make the game freeze but now it's not happening. The only clue I can add is when I looked at my save file after the freeze I saw an additional save file there below my nfs mw save. It had an icon of a broken something and it was called _UAS_ followed by lots of numbers. Does that mean anything to anyone?

This is happen a lot to me lately but thankfully it doesn't corrupt my savefile, like I explained in the topic that I created today it freezes in the loading screen when I am about to leave multiplayer to redirect me to single player.

You had better back up your save file to an external hdd or usb stick everytime before you play multiplayer. I'm telling you, you will eventually lose all your progress. My game froze countless times already but corrupted my save 3 times. It's happened to a lot of people.

That could have had happened last night, I lost connection to Autolog and when the game redirected me to single player it usually auto saves there but thankfully it frooze before that so I was safe 😉

If you pause the game and then unpause before you quit you will see the NFS autosave symbol and you wont get this problem but if you do just quit or the freezes due to you being host you will lose everything you've achieved after the last autosave

I was aware of the first point but I never heard that the game could freeze if I was the host. 😕mileyembarrassed:

What you need to know is that this freezes only happen at the loading screen when you are leaving multiplayer to be redirected to single player after a very long period of playing online, I tested my theory yesterday. If I play one speedlist and then quit this wouldn't happen but if I played more than one or two speedlists and quit there are +80% possibilities of this happening.
