Race Car Handling Assistance

Greentings, everyone! I'm new to the forums here, and probably won't be around much, but I do really require some insight on a dilemma I have.

So recently, I was able to get my Acura NSX up to Max Performance [399], and beforehand it could drift pretty smoothly like most of us racers prefer. However, after all the upgrades, it started becoming more tight around the edges and couldn't drift as easy anymore. At first I thought it might've been the Brake stats, so I lowered them down from 7.-something to 5.1ish or whatever. Unfortunately, the problem remained the same.

If anyone here has dealt with using a 300+ performance vehicle before and may have experienced a tightness issue before and was able to resolve it somehow, I would very much appreciate letting me know how to fix that issue; this also applies to anyone who may have an answer regardless.

  • Maybe try lowering the "Downforce" on the Live Tuning menu.
    But AFAIK, When you upgrade a car fully on Race Spec that's how it's supposed to be, grippy... it's a race car.

    I've experienced that with 90% of my Race Spec cars. They have all got a lot tighter in the corners, but when that does happen i'll just use the handbrake sooner, or downshift.

  • what might affect the drift ability is when you upgrade your car it obviously gets faster, and as faster your car is the more difficult it will be to drift, you can see that in every drift race compare <200kmh drifting to 250+ kmh drifting it gets more difficult.

    also the less brake you have the worse it will be, try getting better brakes instead of weaker ones.
