Re: Fastlane hunter issue

@OP, I am sorry but the "math" seems deliberate and your issue does not qualify as a technical one. Hopefully you will learn few things from this event. For example:

  1. You must master the art of drifting.
  2. Practice hunter races with weaker cars in the underground.
  3. Upgrade your car as much as possible in the middle of event, using as much event replays/cash as possible.
  4. Always expect the worse from EA/FireMonkeys. E.g. were you were expecting 180SX BPs from cash crates this time?

@TheRealJony please stop telling everyone that the race was "easy". It was NOT easy. Everything has to be absolutely flawless in those short, extreme hunter races. You might have won the race in your first attempt but by what margin? One-tenth of a second or may be less? It simply proves that the race wasn't easy. Your tips are very useful in general, but not in the middle of an event. You can't expect someone to "practice" drifting and nitro using event tickets.

@7ru3blu3 Apparently you need to read these again.

@upthecyber406 It wasn't an issue, particularly Chapter 5: Event 11 Hunter race. That Hunter race was easy enough to do.

You need some improving and I've got some tips for you:

    1. Use Nitrous frequently

    2. Drift very slightly to maintain speed and gain Nitrous at the same time. Only drift sharply if you have to.

    3. Pass opponents on the inside. It's useless to attempt passing on the outside.

    4. If going fast enough, then it's possible to pass on the outside.

If you were having issues with either or both of Chapter 4: Event 4 Hunter race and/or Chapter 5: Event 4 Hunter race, then you're not the only one. Quite a high amount of people were having problems winning those Hunter races.

The Hunter races which took place on Mapletree Short (Chapter 4: Event 4 Hunter race and Chapter 5: Event 5 Hunter race) were very short races, hence the word "Short" as part of the track name. I would totally see why people were having issues winning these Hunter races due to its short track length.

The Hunter races which took place on Mapletree Rush (Chapter 5: Event 11 Hunter race) was longer than Mapletree Short. The track covers the length of Mapletree Short plus the track goes further more. If you were having trouble winning a Hunter race on Mapletree Rush, then the problem would be you. You just need to get better.

That's the whole point of Hunter races.

You're supposed to catch up to your opponent after starting WAY behind and pass the finish line before your opponent even though your opponent has a huge head start. That's why you see "Catch up and win" every time you do a Hunter race. Typically you catch up near the end of the race.

You're not supposed to easily dominate your opponents and cruise for 70% of the remaining race. That's something for Rush Hour and Airborne races, not Hunter races.

Uhh...my tips are very useful during the middle of an event. How else would I successfully win those Hunter races if I didn't do any of my tips...?

"Cough" Events that can be replayed "Cough"

Besides people can practice anything while racing. While racing, people will think when it's best to drift and when it's best not to drift. The same goes for using Nitrous, when to use it and when not to use it. Thinking strategically is key to winning races.
