It's working now. Apparently, I was supposed to launch it from Origin at least the first time before subsequently launching from Steam. I had to run Origin as an administrator too.

Still an issue here. Just got a copy and can't launch from steam.
Have to open Origin client and then it will launch from there (but running off steam).
When I launch from Steam it just opens and then closes in under a second.
This is beyond just the first time on my system.
I really hate piggy back DRM, I will EA games would just launch using Steamworks if bought on steam, I assume the piggy back DRM is broken in some regard causing paying customers to have broken products.
Modern times, pay more get worse experience than the P's
- @EvilAaron I have the same problem, days ago I bought the game from Steam and I haven't been able to play it. I tried to open it from EA Play but the error persists
Same issue @EA_Barry @aare_ademola , what do you recommend now that you decommissioned Origin? I can't play at all!
