You can't > to start a race you need to push "gas+brake" so if you configure both to right analogue stick it won't go :D Reconfigure controls and After you done race for the first time you can jump to it directly from autolog menu (skipping "r+r")

Yeah, we already did use that workaround, but it feels stupid that EA has not foreseen this and e.g. allow R3 to be held for that config.
I would assume that still many people (want to) use the right analogue stick for gas + brake instead of L2/R2.
