Short answer, no.
Long answer: No, but you CAN: Delete your save data, start a new game, ignore the main story after the first race, focus on getting to rep 50, save up in-game cash to get the cars you want, re-farm the Ult and Ult+ parts, and finally once your satisfied with your new save, continue the main story.
This is where I'm currently at with my new save (well, not so new anymore, but haven't continued the main story yet.).
