Re: MISSING CONTENT & GAME NOT GIVING NEW CARS

I'm wondering if this is related to a similar issue with the PC version of Shift 2 Unleashed. For that game, DLC content is already included in the downloaded standard game, and what happens is EA servers send unlock messages to the client at game log in time, based on purchases or awards in a players Origin account. In the case of Shift 2, this was first reported in May 2018 at Steam, but the issue probably started earlier.

I suggest calling EA phone support, as they were able to verify the issue in the case of Shift 2. In the case of Shift 2 for the PC, game progress is saved in a client (on a player's PC) file, so once content is unlocked in a save it stays there, until a player starts a new game or replaces the save file with a prior one that doesn't have the DLC. EA is currently looking for a fix to this specific problem, but I don't know if your issue is related to the same problem.
