Hold down the L3 button to skip songs. L3 button is pushing the left thumb stick in.

I heard you can also run the Spotify app on the PS4 to play your own music in the background

    Hello,

     

    Yeah you have to hold down the L3 button for a good 3 to 5 seconds. I thought the feature wasn't working at first. Held it for maybe a second or two and nothing happened. Don't know why they make you hold it down when all you should have to do is press it and release. They could of used the left and right D-pad buttons too. I think they should change it.

    You can also use the Media Player app to play your personal collection of music while playing. You'll have to start it before Need For Speed because otherwise the app will suspend any game that's currently running. It's too bad that NFS doesn't feature an integrated media player... (hint, hint Ghost/EA.)
